A record year marked by a resilient spirit

Presented by National Bank, Marchés Tradition and Bonichoix, the 22nd edition of Dîner Olo was a resounding success despite a major last-minute setback—a gas leak in Old Montreal. Nevertheless, the 500 guests enjoyed a wonderful evening at the magnificent Marché Bonsecours. Under the theme “The taste of a brighter future,” guests joined forces in an exceptional show of strength and solidarity to help raise a net total of $442,000 for Fondation Olo’s mission: to give all babies an equal chance of being born healthy and growing up strong.

Our National Bank crew of 18 event volunteers had a front-row seat to witness this philanthropic spirit. Through my commitment to the cause, I have the opportunity to see firsthand the impact of every action taken by the Foundation to support families and build a better future. It manages to transform this generosity into real actions, offering every family the opportunity to welcome a healthy baby.

- Martin Gingras, Senior Vice President, Personal Banking Solutions and Distribution Strategy, at National Bank, Chair of the Board of Fondation Olo, and Co-Chair of Dîner Olo 2025

The total amount was made possible through the sale of 500 tickets, proceeds from an interactive auction presented by Olymel ($33,000) and a raffle, in addition to a major donation from Sobeys of $180,000, gathered through internal initiatives held throughout the year.

At our Tradition and Bonichoix stores, we see every day how critical it is to support families during pregnancy and from the very first moments of a child’s life. Fondation Olo works with dedication and compassion to create lasting change and break the cycle of food and social inequalities. At Sobeys, this vision is close to our hearts, and we’re proud to help Fondation Olo achieve its mission.

- Simon Rainville, Vice President, Community Banners QC, at Sobeys, and Co-Chair of Dîner Olo 2025

A community united for the health of babies

Under the dynamic and nimble direction of Élyse Marquis, guests from the business and philanthropic communities shared ideas and reflected on the positive and lasting impact of the work carried out by the Fondation Olo community. In the presence of the event’s associate partners Agropur, Nortera and House of Rohl, guests had the opportunity to hear the testimony of an Olo mother who received help more than 20 years ago.

Fondation Olo is privileged to count on a strong ecosystem of generous people who are ready to take action for the health of babies. They’re a powerful force that cares deeply about a better future for infants. If we’re able to make a difference, it’s all thanks to the remarkable work of our staff, but also the support of an entire community that believes in our mission. The team’s ability to react fast was put to the test, but thanks to their resilience, this edition will be one to remember!

- Élise Boyer, Executive Director of Fondation Olo

Following a lively cocktail reception hosted by Ben & Florentine and Pratico Media, guests enjoyed a three-course gourmet dinner skilfully prepared by the chefs at Avec Plaisir Chef Traiteurs, showcasing seasonal produce. The apple-themed dessert provided a nod to the fruit’s recent addition to the Olo Care program.

The event’s success is due in large part to the contribution of the honorary committee, made up of

16 leading figures from the business community. Fondation Olo would also like to express its gratitude to the talented chefs, committed partners and all the guests who attended. Their collective efforts stand as a testament to the strength of the network behind the Foundation.
