With Indigenous communities
Indigenous communities or organizations
Do you work in or with an Indigenous community or organization? Fondation Olo wants to assist you in your nutrition and healthy eating practices during the perinatal period (from pregnancy until the child is 2 years old) and offer you tools and resources adapted to your specific needs and realities.
The Olo approach tailored to Indigenous communities
The Olo Care initiative has proven its worth across Quebec. However, Fondation Olo recognizes that Indigenous populations have unique priorities that need to be addressed and does not pretend to know the ideal solution to do so. By ensuring that we don’t work for Indigenous populations, but rather in collaboration with them, we strive to develop strong relationships based on respect and trust.
Our work with various Indigenous peoples can therefore take many forms, depending on the needs and realities of the families and the resources available.

Two Fondation Olo employees spent a few days in this magnificent Atikamekw community located near La Tuque. Accompanied by Isabelle Greffard, who works at the Wemotaci Health Centre, they met members of the community and gained a better understanding of the issues they face.
