The 16th Annual Dîner Olo: $230,000 Raised for Fondation Olo!
Thanks to Dîner Olo, the 16th annual gourmet benefit for Fondation Olo, held on November 1st, a total of $230,000 was raised for the cause. The event, which was presented by Aon companies and by Sobeys’ Marchés Tradition and Marché Bonichoix banners, brought together over 400 guests from the business world. Part of the total raised was an amount of $100,000 collected by Tradition and Bonichoix merchants province-wide over the last year.
“The generosity of our donors and partners during Dîner Olo makes it possible for Fondation Olo to continue its mission of giving families an equal chance of bringing healthy babies into the world and of them acquiring healthy eating habits early on,” said Élise Boyer, Fondation Olo’s General Manager. “Some 15,000 families throughout the province get Olo’s follow-up care every year, benefitting the littlest among us.”

A precious contribution from Tradition and Bonichoix merchants
The success of Dîner Olo owes much to the extraordinary mobilization of 135 merchants across Quebec who collected $100,000 over the last year. Alain Ménard, Senior Vice-President of retail operations at Sobeys Quebec, stated, “I’m very proud of the combined efforts of the Tradition and Bonichoix merchants Quebec-wide who supported the Olo campaign.
Through fundraising at the checkout, donations, rebates on product sales and other original activities thought up by the merchants, we managed to greatly increase the donations offered to Fondation Olo.”
